Alize Liana Chapman (age 10) is from Washington D.C. She will perform as a soloist with the New York Chamber Players Orchestra and conductor Maestro Giacomo Franci, playing the 2nd and 3rd movements of Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Major, Op. 44, by Isaak Berkovich.
Alize began learning piano about five years ago and has advanced to studying more seriously with Dr. Anna Ouspenskaya at the Hunter Mill Music Studio since September 2025.
Alize attends a bilingual French program at the Washington International School and is independently learning Russian and Hebrew. She likes writing, reading, and experiencing different cultures, and especially loves and is accomplished at tennis, horseback riding, and dance.
Alize very much enjoys the performing arts. She has participated in a variety of professional public performances, singing in concerts with the Children’s Chorus of Washington and, since the age of six, dancing in the productions of “The Nutcracker” and “Alice in Wonderland” with The Washington Ballet.
