Matt Lepek is a freelance multi-woodwind musician based in the New York City and New Jersey area. He earned his Master’s in Performance from New Jersey City University, specializing in multiple woodwinds. While in school, he studied with notable performers across musical theatre, rock, jazz, and classical music, including oboist Marsha Heller, studio musicians Edward Joffe and Rick Heckman, and jazz saxophonists Jim Snidero and Bob Malach.
Matt has performed extensively throughout the United States and Canada on saxophone, oboe, English horn, flute, and clarinet in a variety of ensembles and arrangements. His professional experience includes numerous Broadway shows, a chair at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and he is currently a regular member of the orchestra for the Broadway musical Aladdin.
