Shana Farr is a classically trained actress and singer, as well as an award-winning supper club, cabaret, and concert artist. She has appeared at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall), New York City Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center (Rose Theater), 54 Below, Town Hall, and London’s Westminster Abbey. On stage, Farr has portrayed leading roles across musical theater, operetta, and classical drama, including Marian Paroo in THE MUSIC MAN, Titania/Hippolyta in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Hanna Glawari in THE MERRY WIDOW, and Ruth Condomine in BLITHE SPIRIT.


She is the recipient of a Bistro Award for her acclaimed concept show IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT, as well as two honors from the Mabel Mercer Foundation: the Julie Wilson Award and the Donald F. Smith Award.



Her celebrated concert productions include THE SONGBOOK OF JULIE ANDREWS, THE SONGBOOK OF BARBARA COOK, and her autobiographical show DREAM REALITY. Her debut album, OUT OF THE SHADOWS, was praised by The Wall Street Journal for a voice “bright, strong, and true.” She can also be heard performing the album's title song, “That Star in the Picture,” written by James Adler—their first collaboration. www.shanafarr.com
