Esteban Alvarez is a Steinway Artist, a composer and a music instructor. Founder of EACMUSIC Academy, Esteban teaches music students the art of “playing by ear” and improvisation from a unique angle that embraces how the brain and music connects as well as the understanding of specific music concepts as the key to tap into the music that is “played” in the brain as we listen to it or play it.
Esteban is also the current executive Director of Chorus Austin, and the president of World Piano Teacher Association in the World Music Division.
